To detect the health condition of the body through the smiles just do the following four things.
1. stick out your tongue
Symptoms of iron deficiency, thyroid weakness or fungal infections such as thrush can be seen on your tongue. If you are iron deficient, the tongue may look a bit inflamed. Meanwhile, if the work weakened thyroid, the tongue will look thicker. Then, a fungal infection characterized by white patches.
2. Check the inside of the mouth
Look at the mucous membranes lining the mouth and inner lips. If there are patches of white or gray (leukoplakia) or red patches (erythroplakia), you may experience irritation. If there are injuries such as thrush more than 10 days or disappear and reappear continuously, could be a sign of vitamin deficiency, bacterial infection, or inflammatory bowel disease.
3. Note the lip
Experience tingling of the lips or are itching and a rash? It could be that you have a cold sore or also known as fever blisters.
4. Note gums
Gums red, swollen, and inflamed could indicate many things. Maybe you are brushing too hard or using a toothbrush with bristles that are too stiff. But, usually, red and inflamed gums are a classic sign of gingivitis or gum inflammation.
